If I were a large knife retailer, with a good color-way for exclusives, I'd make the Leafjumper a stocked exclusive. Sort of a signature knife, if you will.
if rec did a leafjumper with their fde/od colorway, it would sell like hotcakes. that seems to be the most popular exclusive colorway, but maybe i'm biased.

i'd love to see an exclusive of this with a stonewashed blade (or ticn coating) and some kind of earth-tone green frn.
Have they done any Seki models? I thought they were mostly on the Golden train.
i'm pretty sure they haven't, but it would be cool.

Just got my Rockjumper in the mail and now I can't wait for the Leafjumper to drop. Might be selling my Delicas as I find them to be just a bit too small for me. Handle on this thing is awesome. The pocket profile is pretty huge though admittedly. Seems about as wide as a Manix 2 folded.

The Manix is certainly a pocket hog, but a deep carry clip helps a bit. I’m also a-ok with the amount of real estate it takes up!
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Surprised there’s no greater demand for these. They’ve been in stock at KnifeWorks for 5+ hours! Good street price too: $92.05. Perhaps people are waiting for their favorite dealer to get them in stock.

The Rockjumper goes on sale to the $60s and doesn't sell out, so I wouldn't expect to have to hunt these while they're still at $92

Same here. And I was really excited about this one. I will also say that I blame you a little bit. Your Polestar thread comparing it to the Manix sucked me in. These are basically the same knife just different materials and lock. The edge even comes a little further back on the Polestar. Moral of the story, I have been enjoying my Leaf Jumper for some time now.

i really hope we get to see this one in a different steel. it would be an excellent candidate for the coated cruwear/od frn combo. the rockjumper would be sweet in that combo as well.

Nice, but I'm saving my cash for the upcoming FRN Caly that will scratch the same itch, but very likely fit my hand and pocket better, sport a PM steel, and have a deep carry wire clip. (I hope.)

I do like the jimping on the thumb rest of the scales. None on the thumb ramp?

I am probably going to buy this one in the near future. Spydie to price ratio this seems like a winner to me!

My RockJumper is really nice.
Small details like the smoother plunge grinds, lockbar being even with the blade's spine, and very smooth operation are noticeable improvements over most of my other Seki knives (my Endela is a close second, though).
It is also my most comfortable Spyderco pocket knife and favorite design overall.
I hope we see a lot of these knives.

I really do think the "Jumper" series are going to be the perfect pocket folding knives for a lot of people, I love my serrated Rockjumper!

I think I'm going to hold off on the LJ and wait and see what kind of sprints Sal surprises us with?

But, one each of a serrated and plain edge LeafJumper in either K390 or Cru-Wear could replace 75%+ of the knives I already own! The handle and geometry are perfect (for my hand)!

Not sure current sales have justified sprints as of yet. Sal would have to answer that.

I certainly don't know how everything works, but Sprints and Exclusives seem to have their own appeal that sales of the base models might not be the best indicators of. The CruWear or K390 or Etc. variations for other models definitely seem to draw a lot of people in who might see VG-10 and pass because its not perceived as "special enough".

Personally, the variations I'm most interested in are Salts.
Bonus if the Salts are GITD FRN or a glow in the dark version is made separately like the Delica. Or some very light-reflective orange.

If Spyderco made a MagnaCut GITD Salt of this, it'd be pretty special and I don't think sales would be a worry, only how many more they'd have to make to keep up with demand.
