Is there a release date for new PM2 S45vn

Never done this myself, but I seen people on here and on YT say that they call the store and ask the rep to verify CQI, blade steel, lamination lines, etc. Might be worth a shot.

I agree, when the s45vn comes out id give them a call and verify that what you are getting is what you want. I ordered a cold steel knife from a online store(whose name I won't say), and instead of getting s35vn I got cts xhp.
