OK, I've bought all of the K390 to date, but I think I'm going to have to throw in the towel at this point!

Fun revel. I'll be picking up a few of these.

The Viele Phoenix Sprint Run has a $315.00 street price for plain VG-10 and G-10!

Thanks for posting! I never get tired of listening to Eric talk. Plus I didn’t know the Cruwear pm2 has full liners until I watched that. Just put it towards the top of my list now.

there's a lot more Ti than G10 in that handle.

Yes but for $315 I’d expect a better steel for the blade. VG-10 is for budget knives these days.

I’ll buy the Phoenix. My original Viele was stolen some 20 years ago and I totally missed the White Phoenix. Does the military discount work on sprint runs, and about when is it slated to be released please?

I was really hoping for a Lil' Native Salt after the Rocks Glass with the Lil' Native back lock LC200N blade. But, having the Lil' Native slippie hopefully means that Spyderco is now catching up on expanding the Lil' Native family.

I'm also surprised to see the UKPK Salt is LC200N with yellow scales and not green.
The UKPK is made in Golden, so it follows the N5 Salt with LC200N and yellow scales. IIRC, green is to differentiate the Seki LC200N Salts from their H1 brethren. I agree it's a bit confusing. I'd like to see the Golden LC200N Salts wearing lime green scales too.

Dragonfly2 in satin S30V. For F’s sake the pink is hideous but I will swap it.
I'll probably be buying one of these for a cousin who's a breast cancer survivor. She's much more apt to use a DF2 size folder than the pink N5 LW or Delica. I think that Spyderco putting pink scales on one their smallest locking folders was a great idea. I can see it being a gateway of a fun and non-intimidating color and size knife for many folks, regardless of gender.

Great Reveal Spydercrew! :)

Now I have to echo the question of why that lovely UKPK Salt isn’t in the official green color of the LC200N Salt series. That would have been so very, very cool...

The SSS might be my first Seki knife.
I have no experience, but I kinda like K390 more than ZDP.
If you like your PM2, I think you'll like the Stretch 2 a lot. Besides the material, the handles feel pretty similarly-shaped to me, and of course the blades are pretty close.

Well... just great!!!

- Salt ffg ? Both in drop point and wharnie? At just 1.9 oz? - Finally a BM bugout challenger concerning weight (and for me the clearly better choice)

- Micarta/Cruwear PM2...
Yes - We are Definitely of Like Mind on this!

I will get the Salt 2, and mod the blade shape, into what I've been calling the "Hyker" for years now, to a drop point - like the UKPK drop point (or Stretch drop point). That will bring the weight down even a tiny bit more, without hurting any function of the knife & perhaps even make it a slightly better piercer.

And for me, the Z-Max Muleteam also has my attention.

#2 Glad to see the new K390 Stretch2, I hope we see the classic blade too, but either way. cool beans. I'm in.

#3 Stoked to see the Phoenix, it's been on my grail list. Will get one for sure.

OMG!!! A PHEONIX SPRINT!!!

Also... That Crucarta PM2 appears to be regular production!!!

We will need clarification there. Hard to tell if the sprint run title is for both or just the Phoenix
It is regular production. ;)

Kick myself for getting rid of my original straight spine Stretch so I’m definitely in for one in K390!

I did the same. Had one, let it go in major purge event, then missed it and found one of the last remaining ones at dealers. Really excited for the K390 version. It is such a great model.

Cru-carta them all indeed :D :D :D

I love Spyderco's approach to making Cruwear standard production. Hopefully this PM2 does well so we can have Cruwear production Para 3s, Manixes, etc in the future.
