I'm late to the game so I missed out on a lot of the para 3 sprints and exclusives. I wouldn't mind seeing a para 3 with CPM SPY 27 DLC coated blade and diamond arc G10 in any color, preferably something more neutral like grey or navy.

No I think this is the best option I’ve seen yet! We are an *extraordinarily* pampered set of consumers here and many are not shy about asking for exactly what they want. What if we put our faith in this great company to provide something special that we all like as a well as something that makes good sense to them as a business? Makes a lot more sense than everyone demanding their own special dodo bone scaled tungsten carbide purple anodized reverse tanto 0.0003mm thick Tasmanian tiger skinning knife?

The Native 5 is my least favorite Golden model. If it were a Native Salt with a special handle color I would be in. I still think the UKPK to start off with would be the best option because more people can use the knife that are Forum members. It is legal in the UK, in most of the USA, and most of Europe.

BUT, they could shorten the UKPK handle and blade down to 2.5" and the Metropolitan would be a reality.

I want 204P and a special G10 scale color. I like earth tones and I like true ivory white, as well (like on the one eyed jack). Maybe with a red Spyder inlay.

I've been around long enough to know that we don't have a lot of input on specifics of a Forum knife. Spyderco chooses with probably very little guidance from our input, but its their decision at the end of the day. If it happens and I like it, I'll buy one, but I don't get too worked up in these threads. Sometimes I pass as I did last time.

From the annual threads, some of us have learned the following which would be useful as some of you are having fun dreaming of your ideal forum knife:
The knife should be Golden made and Golden must have capacity to squeeze it into production (covid may be an issue at this time)
Sal likes the knife to be "affordable" to a broad audience
The knife should be current production
The knife will have some etching
The knife will probably be an unusual color or feature an embellishment of some sort
The knife will likely have previously used steel of some sort

Personally, I'd lean toward a Para 3 lightweight of some sort.

Here is my perfect knife: Ivory white polished G10 with a red Spyder inlay. SPY27 is fine. I'd prefer a UKPK, but a Li'l Native backlock would be okay.
