They said that a lot of the regular production models they are behind on are going to start shipping soon. Specifically one of the models I was told to look out for in the coming month is the K390 Stretch. There are going to be some cool new models coming down the pipeline too. I don't know if I'm allowed to talk about the prototypes, but I'm pretty stoked about what I saw.
Hopefully, we’ll see the 4 Swick models real soon as it has been 13+ months since they were announced. I’m looking forward to getting a Swick5 SpyderEdge. Swick5 has a 2.73” blade length and Swick6 has a 1.9” blade length (the Spyderco website lists both as 2.73”).

I don't remember which thread it was in but i do remember somebody from Spyderco chimed in and said they had the same blade length and the only size difference was the diameter of the hole.RamZar wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 9:12 pmfreddiepellini wrote: ↑Fri Jun 04, 2021 8:01 pmSo I was at the Spyderco booth at Blade Show today. I got my specs from BladeHQ which is usually pretty reliable with their internally measured specs. The finger hole does look larger in one!
Perhaps someone from Spyderco can chime in here.
Also, the pommel of the handle looks to be useful for breaking side windows in cars. So, with the SpyderEdge you could have a useful tool in the car: seat belt cutter, side window glass breaker and opening packages.

Re: Spyderco 2021 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming
I just read the Swick section in Reveal Vol. 5:
“The Swick 6 is identical to the Swick 5 in every way—except for the size of its index-finger hole. At 0.91 inches (23.1mm) in diameter, its reduced size is more appropriate to ladies’ hands, ensuring them a secure grip in even the most demanding circumstances. Swick 5 is sized for a man’s hand with a 1.03-inch-diameter (26.1mm) hole.”
In both Swick 5 & 6 the blade lengths and thicknesses are the same at 2.73” (69mm) and 0.118” (3.0mm) respectively.
Just have to remember that Swick 5 has a larger index finger hole than Swick 6!

Not to turn this into a Swick thread, but I held both at Blade and the smaller 6 was perfect for my medium hands (though the larger 5 didn’t feel too big either.) I’ll probably order both and use the 5 with gloves in winter.

True, but I have $12 dollar tool that covers the seat belt cutter/glass breaking thing much better, for less.
