This is the first S45vn Paramilitary 2 in Spyderedge that I've noticed. I have not been on the lookout for it though, so it could be available elsewhere also...

I also didn't notice until just now that the listings for a couple Spyderedge Pm2's and Para 3's on the Spyderco website have changed over to S45vn. Or maybe I'm just late to the party?.. So many knives, it's hard to keep track sometimes.

These ParaMilitary2 & Para3 with S45VN are not new models but it’s part of Spyderco’s CQI to upgrade them from S30V to S45VN.

Hey, All:

As announced in the 2021 catalog, the standard-production Para Military 2 and G-10-handled Para 3 families are transitioning from CPM S30V to CPM S45VN. That's it. I'm not sure where "the word on the street" is coming from regarding a wholesale move away from S30V, but it's unfounded.

What i was trying to say was that i haven't kept an eye on the Spyderedge versions over on spyderco.com and didn't notice when the listings changed from S30v to S45vn. So there's a possibility that they went in stock and sold out on spyderco.com and I didn't notice. Probably not, but maybe. The only plain Edge version that hasn't made the switch yet, and been available in S45vn, is the DLC camo handle PM2.

We’ll probably see the next Spyderco Discontinued List within the next few weeks. The last one was published on November 4, 2020. However, as you can see from the schedule below, it has been as early as late September and as late as late November.
