DIY Spyderco Traveler Cup

#1

Post by PStone »

Morning all! Wanted to share what I did today. I got a couple Christmas travel coffee cups today as a gift at work. And I realized I could make them not so Christmas-y. They have liners that separate from the outer cup, with graphic paper in between. So I printed my own inserts and made them into Spyderco ones to go with my new bugged out coffee mugs.

Pretty cool I think. Anybody down for some official ones from Spyderco?

Thanks for the kind words y’all! :spyder:
My plan is to switch out the inserts every so often. Next time with my own photos instead of using ones I got online. :o

My wife was also gifted a travel mug with promotional advertising that she did not care for. I used Goof Off to get rid of the printing and installed a Spyderco decal that I bought from the Spyderco Online Store. She is delighted that I am able to get some use out of this. Merry Christmas.

Here’s a sticker on a Stanley brand travel thermos. Stickers could be applied to any artwork used in the OP’s travel mugs, too.

Yep! Used it to cut out the pattern I traced. It’s pretty much perfect for cutting on a flat surface. Exacto-like control.

Mine aren’t Tervis. But I checked them out and yeah, I’ll be buying one soon. Much nicer than these I have.

Shortly we will have a "Show your Spyderco Tumbler Mods" post!!!
Great idea by the way, and I have to admit, I looked through the cupboards already with no luck.
