2020 Seconds Sale - SOLD OUT!

#1

Post by TazKristi »

What a ride! Your enthusiasm and support for our first-ever online Seconds Sale have been tremendous. At this time the Seconds inventory is completely sold out and there will be no additional drops for this year’s sale. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event possible. We are truly grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community!

Thanks for hosting it! I didn't get anything myself (was hoping for a Caly 3.5 in ZDP), but it was fun to be able to watch after hearing so much about it on the forums for so many years.

Whoo! I'm glad I was able to grab one of of the knives I was shooting for. Amazing that everything went so quickly.

I likely could have picked up most of the knives I wanted if I hadn't dilly dally'ed. The only exception is the Police K390, but then I missed that due to a previous engagement. Ah well. Maybe next time, if there is one..

Had fun picking up some smoking deals in my first ever seconds sale. It was fun waiting to see what each drop would be. Managed to get everything I wanted that was posted except the rex45 shaman.

Thanks for doing this, It was par-for-the-course as far as online sales for high-demand products go in 2020. I am sure you did everything you could to prepare in the limited time you had. I missed out on 2 or 3 orders right at the CC entry step, but that's how it goes sometimes. I am happy I did transact and appreciate the opportunity for the knives I did get. Don't let the Negative-Nancy's bother you, people always find a reason to complain. Again, thank you!!!

P.S.

If anyone has an extra Yojimbo I would be ever so grateful for a PM!

Also disappointed. Had vacation all ready to go to the real one and was happy they still tried to have it!

But to me it was a failure.

Loading, can't connect, reloading reloading.... out of stock.

Very very very disappointed I can't express it enough. Glad the bots got every **** present I've wanted this year.

I didn't get anything, but I really enjoyed being able to participate. Thank you so much, Kristi, and the rest of the Spyderco crew! I hope that you consider doing it online again sometime.

Right? The damage could have been so much more severe if not for the site issues.

Although having to refresh the screen was a pain it was far easier than flying to Denver and paying for a rental car and hotel, not to mention without monetary cost. I was tenacious and had the time, being retired, so I got the 7 knives I wanted.

Thanks for putting this on. Overall I enjoyed the experience and will enjoy the knives (and 1 hatchet) for some time to come.

THANK YOU SPYDER-CREW! That was a fun break from COVID. Enjoyed it tremendously. Y'all must be exhausted. Hope the weekend brings a well-earned bit of rest. Give my best to your IT team, this was probably hard on them! Very grateful -- Bolster

Really! They were working with Jeff Co for an in-person sale and had plans for the online sale at the same time. When they, Spyderco, pulled the plug on the in-person sale, they jumped to plan B. I imagine they learned a thing or two for this sale and if they do it in the future, it'll go smoother.

Thanks Spyderco.
