can we get a damascus and grey/black zome rockjumper like the delica and endura that just came out? i need a little extra to make me push the button on the rockjumper because it's so close to what i already have and this would definitely push me over the top. it's such a beautiful combination and would be amazing on a rockjumper. thanks. :)

I’d agree that the rockjumper is in need of some material variations. I’d be for your suggestion of that zome/dama configuration. But considering the knife’s work oriented design, I’d assume k390 is coming first. Although cladded hap40 would also be welcomed.

This model is sticking around for a while. No doubt it will get the same array of materials as the rest of the frn seki line.
Lightly insane.

And honestly it's different enough to warrant getting on it's own merits. Doesn't feel like an Endura/Endela at all. Really feels like a choil-less Stretch 2 but with a bit more blade and in a Wharnie blade at that. But I would love some steel and color options until I can finally talk a scale maker into making some custom ones.

i agree that it's very different. it's basically perfect as an frn/backlock model. it answers the ergonomic problems i have with the delica perfectly. however, the main knives i carry are a pac salt se along with a manix or yojimbo. and i just got a caribbean sheepsfoot se in hopes to pare it down to one knife. anyway, i have more great knives than i have pockets and days in the week. the rockjumper looks great, but i want something a little extra if i'm going to work it into the rotation at this point. i may end up with one anyway, but it would be awesome in this combo.

The Rock Jumper seems to cry for variants just right from the beginning... :)
Some weeks ago I even started a dedicated thread already: viewtopic.php?t=87759

One variant this model definitely should get: A linerless, high-viz-colored version. Meant to be a climbing and outdoor knife (though it certainly is a great general EDC blade either) this is what many climbers will want (even lighter weight and a bright color).
A green Salt version (like the ffg Pac Salt) would do the trick, and also appeal to the many who generally do like the Salt line.
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

I think it's inevitable, we'll see sprints and exclusives. They went all in and brought out a new model in FRN, invested in those molds instead of the typical G10 feeler knife to see how it'll sell, I think they'll want to get their money's worth from that investment.

I think it begs fir the LC200N and bright green combo.

Indeed there already is a Rock Salt.

As well as an orange handled sprint.

Not to discourage you, maybe add a twist. :D
