I am finally going to get that blue Dragonfly I've been after

I have asked for a blue Dragonfly for several years, now. It looks like I am finally going to get what I want...and a plus is that the steel is K390.

I was looking for a different shade, but hey, it is blue!

It will be after Christmas more than likely, before I get to buy it. I will buy one (or two), however.

Thanks Sal.

I only wish they release a FRN Urban in K390. I really like that cobalt blue.

And that gray can very easily be made blue with RIT dye!

I was just hunting on the internet last night for another K390 Urban. Love that knife.

That grey K390 Urban was a home run. I own three of them but I am not crazy about that smooth FRN pattern. Urban is a superb city carry slipit and I love it mostly because of how thin behind the edge it is ... 0.015” more or less. I wish they move the Urban production to Taichung and implement the Chaparral frn pattern in the process. It deserves the best IMO

I agree with the move to Taichung. It would solve a lot of problems. However, I like the FRN pattern on this knife. It is a pocket knife, after all. It just feels good dropped into a pocket without a clip. When your hand goes into your pocket, the knife just feels right, somehow, like it is pocket worn. It feels good in the hand when using it, too.

Haven’t there been several blue DF2s?
Super Blue, K390, TNP special DLC/S35VN, and the teal S30V...

I really like the color of the K390 DF, but won’t buy one because it’s K390. The only PM steel I think I would consider buying is SPY27.

Super blue has a gray handle. I'm not sure the teal counts as blue.

Yeah it was gray, I thought it was a light blue there for a minute. My bad.

Teal, especially that color they used is not teal or blue. It is more aqua green.

The Superblue run was almost an extremely light, earth purple ish blue color :D

I'm only now getting into understanding the majority of steels being used on the cutlery market; and when I got my VG-10/Zome version, I almost went for the K390/blue variant; but I had to keep costs in check. From what I understand, K-390 is a seemingly tough and wear-resistant steel; which makes it perfect for a harder use knife. And that, coupled with the comfy and compact Dragonfly is perfect for my personal tastes.

And I like the blue color.

It is grey that is a little on the blue side of the spectrum, but not much.

I did a thread a couple of years ago wanting a Blue Dragonfly for men's cancer. There is a particular shade of blue for men's testicular cancer, and men's issues often do not get funded. This is what I'd like to see
