Looks much better. The wife will want one of these. Too bad this Delica and the pink DLC one won't come out before Valentines Day.

I already saw one YouTube knife reviewer with an advanced sample of the coated variant. That should help boost interest in this release.

The TiCN ones are in stock now!

Also, DLT is giving you a $20 gift card if you buy both the black and satin models.

The coating is not DLC. It’s Titanium CarboNitride Coating (TiCN).

Looks great. If it was K390 I'd be all over it. Curious about TiCN corrosion resistance. Can we get a murdered out run of Seki K390? :)

I own both the satin and the DLC. Both knives are awesome, and the satin is an especially great deal. I’m shocked that they’re not sold out. The DLC is really sharp looking (no pun intended.)

Correct-a-mundo -- RamZar is on point. A good rule of thumb is if the blade is black & from Japan, it's TiCN. If it's from Golden then it is DLC. There was a thread about this and which factories have the gear to do which -- quick search and I'm not finding it at the moment but it's out there...

Thank you for the education. I tend to refer to all black blades as DLC. Learn something new everyday.

If I didn’t already have the 204P KW version I would definitely grab one of the TiCN versions while they are available. As noted in another thread, Spyderco does a great job with that family of steel and the Delica in that steel makes an excellent lightweight carry for the summer.

I really want a 20CV Delica, thus far I've been able to hold off because I really don't like that zome pattern. It looks for all the world like dirty, greasy fingerprints on tools like you get when working on cars.

I wouldn't mind the base red though, given that it's a dye blotched on the red FRN, I wonder if it would be possible to clean the dye off somehow?

you could always dye the scales black or even switch them out to be a mini para with boomer52 scales, if those are even still a thing.
