Hi JD,
Thanx for the suggestion, but I think we'll focus on knives right now.

Re: This is devotion...
I echo Vivi. I love IWB at about 4 o’clock. I almost always carry tip down either IWB or in my right rear pocket depending on what I’m wearing. IWB is mostly reserved to gym shorts and sweat pants. The muscle memory is pretty similar.
I’ll also echo the part about less movement. Running a 5K with a knife in your pocket is way worse for me than running with it IWB at 4 o’clock. I have run many many miles with a Spydie IWB.

That´s 100% true (though, as elaborated above, I generally prefer RFP carry by a lot).
But when running most of the times I don´t expect really having to draw and use my knife, at least not multiple times, but to just "transport" it. Also when running I normally don´t carry a lot of layers hanging over the waistband, don´t sit down and so on.
This is when IWB works just perfectly fine for me.
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

I also suggest IWB. I used to IWB carry a Yojimbo at 4:00 when I wanted to carry an extra self defense blade.
Now, when I'm on self defense carry, I have a Fusion fixed blade IWB at 4:00.
