Voted Maxamet but I'd most likely buy any new Military. After using my Watu for half an year now, for sure I'd like to see a 20CV version and be able to do a bit of comparison against my M390 and 204P ones. And I'd be thrilled to smithereens to see a yellow G10 LC200N.

I believe AEB-L was requested some time ago. At the higher HRC the edge stability and toughness make it a very interesting steel for the Military. I think cost of the steel would kill this one.

Yeah, I would love AEB-L, CPM-154, and 3V as well in the Military. I'm about to pick up a set of AEB-L kitchen knives.

Wouldn’t a salt LC200N be truly unique over all other Military models? Call it the Coast Guard/Navy edition :D

Love the idea of calling different models diffrent branches of the military. Lc200n would def be navy. If they brought back the rex45 one, that's a high speed steel, so that could be the air force :D
Lightly insane.

Current spydie collection: Watu, Rhino, UKPK Salt G10 bladeswap, Yojimbo 2 Smooth G10 Cru-Wear, Manix lw “mystic” 20cv, SmallFly 2, Waterway, Ladybug k390, Caribbean

Years ago there was mention of a K390 Military. The police 4 in my mind made up for the lack of a K390 military but I'd still buy one if they made it.

Also, lets not forget S45VN, it is still new to many... and I would buy even an S35VN Military with SE.

Forgot about S45VN. I assume that if you are interested in stainless, you wouldn't say no to SPY27 or 20CV? Or vice versa.

As for AEB-L, I don't think we have seen that steel used in Golden, so I did not include it.

That said, I expected K390 to be the leader in this poll. I did not expect to see LC200N to be as desirable.

Well, if nothing else, I am hopeful that these polls and conversations may be that straw which will break the camel's back, and finally gets us a new Military... hopefully non-stainless :D

I'm all in on a new Millie. Love the all Ti LC200N Navy idea too. Maybe we can make the Ti blue. And I've become a fan of the new S45VN so that would be cool with the green diamond arc G10. Anything really would be intriguing.

I really like my cruwear millie. Don’t think I’d buy another; so another steel would be good. K390, AEB-L, LC200N, all sound interesting. Ti framelock would dissuade me from buying.

Yes I think it would be very unique. They should put that steel in a PM2 variant too.

while I would love to see a Millitary in anyone of the steels listed (and more), I voted SPY27 because that's Spyderco's showcase proprietary steel and it would be fitting to put it in a showcase knife like the Military. Plus, I would like to see a balanced stainless steel in the platform other than just S30V - so S45VN would be my second choice.

Third choice is all of them.
Past: Dragonfly, Air, Rhino, Lil' Native, Techno 2, Caly Jr., Brouwer, Chap LW, Para3, N5, Watu, ‘Chef, Mantra 2, SSStretch, PM2, Smock, Shaman, Advocate, GB2, Kapara, Military, Bradley Bowie, Province

Present: P4 K390 FRN

Future: Para3 Cruwear (someday)

Regrets: Most of them

I was lucky enough to add a Millie to my rotation a few months back thanks to a very thoughtful forum member. I must say, it's now my favorite carry for most days.

I would love a K390 run, and I'd love it even more if it was a Millie 2.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

K390, 10V, Maxamet or 4V all sound great. I would also buy a Military Salt.

Who am I kidding, I would buy a Military in any flavor.
Me too. I would go for 4v or k390 but I like the idea of a frame lock like the old m4 exclusive that Knifeworks did. I was always sad I missed that one. 4v in the same setup would be a nice consolation prize. :D

Being that Nitrogen steels are becoming more desirable and in demand, I can see the “Navy” version being the hottest seller over even more lesser known and rare unobtanium exotic metals. K390 seems to be neck and neck with LC200N on this forum but if there was a 15V I would be conflicted on what I would like more but my needs would lead me back to the still imaginary NAVY model. Go NAVY!
