Often I think it would be easier to just list the (very few) models we don't want to see in LC200N :D

Honestly, for me... vg10 might be my first pick, it works wonder in SE blades. At the same time, I do love my SE leaf Caribbean...
If the serrations are ground fairly shallow like my SE Caribbean, Endela or Byrd hawkbill, that would be the icing on the cake.

Hi JMM,
Yup. I want one of those.
I guess I'll have too make More than one because I've found that some of the designs that I create to my liking are sometimes also liked by others.

A serrated K390 P4 would be an instant buy for me. Don't care the handle material.
Re: Police 4 Serrated LC200N lookout thread
It has to happen... the police 4 LW is the perfect candidate for a big ol FFG serrated blade.

Re: Police 4 Serrated LC200N lookout thread
Bummer to hear. I was really looking forward to a Green LC200N Beach Police! On the bright side, that means there is time to add a boye dent once Sal changes his plans and adds this to the lineup! :D

Re: Police 4 Serrated LC200N lookout thread
Hi Steelcity,
To be honest, I've been struggling with the dent concept. With my new designs, it isn't needed for safety, but it might be an advantage for indexing? Might be a good thread poll?

Yes, a good poll topic indeed. I, for one, prefer the Boye dent for indexing.

Re: Police 4 Serrated LC200N lookout thread
If indexing is important then why not add jimping to the lock bar above the release cutout. Not overly important to me who has been carrying a Spyderco since '83, but to many it would provide traction and lock release location. Rarely seen if ever on custom order production folders.

Thanx Brian,
Good idea, could be added to the poll?

Re: Police 4 Serrated LC200N lookout thread
I think I would rather have nothing at all than jimping on the lockbar. The Boye Dent provides a comfortable index point whereas jimping, I fear, would be more uncomfortable than no dent.N. It's not a big issue but I just see a lot of cons and no pros to replacing the Dent with jimping.
