High Hollow grinds are a long time favorite of mine.
For the cutting I do most, nothing beats it.

rex121 is the king of steel, but nature’s teeth have been cutting for hundreds of millions of years and counting

James Y - I still have a Liner Action here somewhere, that did have a beautiful grind. Pity mine is partly serrated and the lock now hits the opposite scale.
Hi, PSquared.
My Liner Action is plain edged, and its liner also travels all the way to the opposite scale. I handled others, too, in the past, of differing sizes, and their liners all traveled all the way to the opposite side. I’m guessing it was one of the quirks (flaws?) of the design.
The upper corner of the Dragonfly Salt’s hollow grind goes partially into the hole, but I’m guessing that much more/higher for a thin, tall HG might weaken the blade(?).

Not typically a fan of hollows. I do like the Smock. Lots of custom makers use a 20" wheel and those feel like a good balance of hollow and flat.
