More CTS-204P Forest Green Spydies coming

#1

Post by Doc Dan »

Roger, at Knifeworks.com, told me in an email that they are planning more forest green 204P Spydercos. He also said they might do another run of Delicas because they sold out so fast. I think this is great news! The price of that Delica was not too bad and if the prices of the other knives are kept low like that, we are going to win big.

He did not say what other models he is planning.

They should do a Shaman in 204P and make a million of them. I'll take one.

That’s neat. My top pick for this treatment would be the g10 native, hopefully with smooth g10. I can dream of a spyderfly 2 but that’s not even really out yet is it :D
Lightly insane.

Current spydie collection: Watu, Rhino, UKPK Salt G10 bladeswap, Yojimbo 2 Smooth G10 Cru-Wear, Manix lw “mystic” 20cv, SmallFly 2, Waterway, Ladybug k390, Caribbean

Even if they’d make that many I doubt they could keep it in stock for longer than a few minutes.

I sure hope that a Manix is in the works. I realize that 204P, 20CV, and M390 are all supposed to be the same but 204P just feels a little different than the others to me.

Both a Shaman and a Manix would interest me, probably an endura, too. I think it'd be pretty great to see some less common models, though...a Sliverax, a Kapara, etc.

OooooOOOoooo...one of my personal favorite exclusives! I don't need another Manix, but would likely grab one and do some scale/hardware swap with another and match those scales up with a DLC blade and black hardware

Dragonfly didn't even cross my mind, but that would be a definite yes! I could see that selling very well.

I agree but I’d be a little afraid of wear. Since the washers ride directly on the handle material.

You are reading my mind! The new XL Straight Spine Stretch that will come out one day would be a good choice, too.
