Spyderco Centrofante

I found this old C25 at a brick and mortar shop. Does anyone have any insight on what year it was made or any other information? There isn't much info out there on this version with mother of pearl.

That is a beauty! This is the first generation C25 Frank Centofante model, made in the early to mid-1990s (they switched the handle material to G10 in 1997).

This appears to be a version that was customized by a third party. The C25 came in blue or grey aluminum with Santoprene inlays. This one looks to have been coated black and had a custom pearl inlay put in. I don't believe it was done by Spyderco because if it had been, it would probably have been mentioned in Ken Delavigne's book "The Spyderco Story" (and it is not).

Regardless, it looks great and I would buy it in a heartbeat!

Welcome to the forum. That knife is beautiful; I think you should pick it up before somebody else does.

This listing at Country Knives looks very similar... https://www.countryknives.com/shop-by-d ... ationedge/
It says, "One of Twelve Pieces by Santa Fe Stoneworks"
