Don't get discouraged, it's only for a short time. It keeps spam accounts off the site, which is really nice. Anyhow it's worth the very brief wait - this is a great little oasis of good stuff on the internet. :)

Welcome OneGun. Have a little patience. It'll be worth it. It really is a great group here. As Julia mentioned, the post approval process for new members is a necessary evil to keep all the spammers at bay

BTW, you may be able to only have one gun but if you hang around here long enough there's no way you'll have only one knife. :)

The probation thing will pass. Apparently this forum is a hot spot for spam and they have to take certain precautions to prevent it. I remember seeing new members even posting things that seemed like real legit posts and then 10 posts in they're spamming the site.
