I like the Moran, great platform. Its a great regular seller. Would you be willing to update the steel? K390, Cruwear, or fielder's choice?

Great suggestion, Skidoosh. :)

A K390 drop point Moran would be an outstanding hunting knife. I’d be up for one, for sure.

I want the same thing done to the Street Beat.

I think K390 would be a perfect steel for a small fixed blade. I hope you get a Moran in K390!

I agree, a Moran, Street Beat, and Enuff woukd all be good in K390.

K390 is great stuff for a small fixed blade. I'd love to see K390 expand to the Enuff line.

Based on tang stamps I always figured that Moki made the Moran and Street Beat. Not sure if they can make this happen.

I would buy a K390 Moran in a split second and I would do it with a smile on my face. :)

I bought a Moran for a hunting buddy once but I didn’t recall what the tangstamp looked like. I just looked up an image of one, and it appears you’re right. Dang. :(

Yeah, Moki have a reputation for being pretty conservative in their use of bladesteels. Eric seems to have been pretty persuasive with G. Sakai though. Even a laminated ZDP189 or HAP40 Moran would still be pretty cool, I guess. I wonder if Moki might consider monometal HAP5R, which is pretty close to a Japanese version of Cruwear?

I'd want a HAP-40 over K390 in a Seki fixed blade - Street Beat by preference, but I don't have a Moran yet...

HA5R is an interesting steel. Maybe a good mule option
