Fully serrated Stretch

#1

Post by chp5 »

I lost my EDC and personal favorite, the fully serrated Stretch. I know they are discontinued.

Any leads to find one is appreciated.

Is there no sales forum anymore? Thx.

No sales, and best of luck. I managed to buy one that was old stock from my local knife shop only to find it had a crazy amount of vertical play on the lock. I sent it back and they decided it was defective and then couldn't send me a replacement. I lucked out and a nice forum member here gave me a used one and I've held onto it very tightly. This is the knife that really opened my eyes to the FFG/SE combo.

Reading horror stories like this is why so many forum members buy 2 of everything they really like. ;) ;)

There’s one, looks to be way off center and it’s $$$$
Edit* I’m an idiot, I was looking for the SE calypso.

Sorry for your loss. Time to try another great model?

Yes sorry for your loss. While the search for a replacement continues (or until Sal does a SE of the Stretch 2) the Endela SE is of similar size or as soon as the Rockjumper SE comes out, maybe that will fill the void for awhile.

I would get a SE Endura to use temporarily then troll the online auction until you find what you want.

Having started purchasing Stretch models over the last two years, I've come across the SE for sale (ebay and knife retailers) about twice. You'll likely have to be watching for a while to find one. Good luck!!

Very good point. For the time being, I would recommend an SE Endela as well. Outstanding knife. One of my top 5 for sure.

They are really hard to find, so I understand your frustration. I picked one up a few months back from www.countryknives.com, I would encourage you to reach out to them. I think I got the last one they had in stock but it's worth asking them IMO. HTH

Cheers,

I had no idea this model existed until now. Looked up pics online and wow this needs to be a green LC200N re-release.
