If that's the case, S30V should be just fine for you. Or if you can get your hands on one of the Z-Wear sprints that will soon be released, that should be ok for you as long as you clean and maintain it.

Haven't purchased any knives (from any maker) in 2020 so far. That's not too unusual for me; I often go several years between purchases.

However, that will change when (if?) the new Swick models drop. Those are the only models in the 2020 reveals that I really want to get.

S30v has worked well for me on the shoreline as well. Both the Caribbean and the Shaman are great platforms!
