Finally ordered that Lone Wolf Distributor's Endura

#1

Post by Evil D »

I've been plotting on this one for some time and checked their site today and it says "low stock" and who knows if this one is even in production anymore? There's practically never any mention of this knife so I figured I better jump on it while I can. My plan is to hopefully find a SE waved Endura to swap the blades with so I can have myself a full SE waved Endura with a Glock tool.

I think it's a really cool idea I wish was expanded on. As I'm typing this I'm wondering if a SE wharnie Endura blade will fit this handle...?

PM me when you find a SE waved Endura. I haven't had any luck.

That’s very cool! If I didn’t already have an armorer’s tool that fits into the hollow of my Glock 23 handle behind the mag well, I’d definitely pick one of those up. What a clever idea! It might make an good impromptu marlinspike (in a pinch). Is the armorer’s tool solid or hollow?

It's a good buy, a waved blade + 3/32' punch all for less than a standard Endura. I had it in my cart for a while too.

Not sure, never held one. I figured it's also a pretty cheap price for a waved Endura so really can't lose.

Man they seem to not exist. I've seen old listings for sale but that's it. I haven't really posted on any forums looking for one though so they may be easier to find if I just looked in the right places.

I didn't even know they existed until this year, and I bought a first run waved PE Endura back in the day.

This knife was always on the interest list but I never purchased. I had plans to make a small paracord marlin spike from the Glocktool. Now Exo-tools makes a proper bolt on upgrade for the D4/E4 backspacer. Congrats on your new tool.

I had a similar idea but mine included a CE Endura swap.
CE blade fit fine with good lock engagement but the last inch of blade strikes the back spacer upon closing. Not sure if this is because of differences in the blade profile or the kick. There is definitly a difference in the backspacer with the fold out armorer's tool and it is not interchangeable between scales. I don't think it would take much grinding to create clearance for the blade edge but I have not gotten around to doing it yet.

Yeah I don't think the wharnie blade will fit, the handle/backspacer us probably different to accommodate the lower blade point.

Solid. I have one in my range bag. I've had it for several years, but I never EDC it. It always stays in the range bag.

Mine will likely be kept in my range bag as well. I've been using an allen key for pushing out those pins :D
