Boo! I wasn’t quick enough! All sold out!

Distributor Exclusives are different than Dealer Exclusives. This was commissioned by a distributor, and will be available at most of the big dealers and many smaller dealers. Should be easy to get. The non-zome GITD Delicas can still be found easily, and the Zome GITD Delicas and Enduras are still available at a lot of dealers.
Very good! Thank your much! I need to get one for one of the kids!

Looks like Cutlery Shoppe and GP Knives will have them as well. ETA is September 23rd. CS is one of my top 3 favorite dealers. They include pens and tootsie roll pops in their orders! :D

Just Google search the model number LPGITD3 over the coming days and you will be able to see what dealers are stocking it.

Huh, I wonder why if there were problems with those since all the production ones are still sabre ground.
The only thing that I can think of is being such thin blade stock perhaps there may be warping/distortion in grinding and heat treatment, but I don't rightly know. :)
That's kinda what I was thinking. Or maybe too many complaints about broken/bent blades or something similar. Just a guess.

Well, all the Chaparral variants have the same thinner (2mm) blade stock and come in ffg... no problems there, as far as I know, despite the Chap even has a longer blade ( = more potential leverage forces)
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

True, but the Chap has a taller blade and less pointy tip. Anyhow, this is all just totally speculation on my part. Maybe they just had extra sabre grind vg10 blades laying around!

I'm sure if someone is going to order 2000 knives, the get to pick what blade style they want. I would bet it was just someone from that distributor that chose the blade style.

You´re right, did not think of that! Should make the Chap blade a bit more robust, despite being as thin as the Ladybugs.

Neat. I’ll probably nab this and swap the handles on my k390 one.
I just found this searching to see if this was possible, winner winner chicken dinner lol

Probably going to pass on this one for now since Sal said they may do some Pink Ladybugs. I am going to get the blacked out Manbug Wharnies for my keychains, and the Pink Ladybugs for my wife's keychains. I am really hoping the Pink Ladybugs are Pink GITD with FFG TiCN coated S30V blades.

Any future FRN Jesters would replace some or all of these! :D

I am glad to see this model though. I really like my non-zome GITD Delica and was hoping to see more models in this non-zome GITD handle. Hopefully this means the Dragonfly, Jester, and Endura aren't far behind. TiCN with this non-zome GITD would be awesome for future runs as well! I was bummed about all of those Zome GITD Delicas and Enduras. I hate Zome or I would have bought one or more of each of those 4 models. I may still buy one of these Ladybugs eventually if they stick around and I need to add something to meet a free shipping requirement on an order. Can't have too many little GITD knives I guess!

Wow that is one tall order to be hoping for. I won't say it'll never happen but I wouldn't hold my breath. :D :spyder:

edit: I'd buy one though!!

I've never had a lady bug and always wanted a gitd Spyderco, always passed on the endura or delica gitd in vg10 because I already have those combos. K390 gitd Police with coated blade!
