BladeOps still has their Emerson opener Pm2 exclusives in stk in black or satin blades. The saber grind should make for a stronger blade. The Opfocus program wouldn't apply though.

I never use a knife as a screw driver, but I have been guilty of prying, chopping, and other abuses of pocket knives! I've kinda settled on a yojimbo now, and a pm2 or 3 later......and of course not all of the yojimbos are sold out!

I have them both and was also concerned with the tips but several years later and zero tip issues. With that said, a more robust tip on my Endura broke at the very end but I was/am a moron and was prying staples out of 2X4” shooting target backing with it!!

I forgot in my original post, I’d have a knife to use and then one that’s kept purely for SD/GTFO me knife. So one for utility and a matriarch 2 for the later?
