Was super happy to see this reveal on the Spyderco app today :-)

I had passed on the Caribbean as I know I wouldn't have carried it over the weight, I will carry that Pac Salt 2 to try LC200N as I already have it in H1, will be fun to compare

Two questions please:
1. Will we see a Salt 2 and Ladybug now?
2. With these being made in Seki, is this the beginning of the end of H1? I hope not
Christian,

I seriously doubt it’ll be the end of H1. The LC200N version offers the choice of FFG in Seki-made Salts. I’m certain there are plenty of users who will continue to prefer the saber hollow-grind of the H1 Seki-made Salts.

Somewhere a while back, I remember reading a post from sal saying that the FFG lc200n version and the traditional saber ground H1 blade would both be options. So, I’m fairly certain, and hopeful it’s not going anywhere!

i think the different color is a pretty good sign the h1 models aren't going anywhere.

Would love to see a Salt 2 SE in this configuration (LC200 FFG). I will get the Pac Salt 2 in SE, but I prefer the size of the Salt 2.

That PAC Salt has a point! No more modding! I like the weird color too.

I am really courious how exactly the serration pattern of the ffg SE Pac Salt will be... hope along the lines of the Endela SE, and not more pointy, not deeper or more aggressive (the serration pattern of the H1 SE Oac Salt is all of this).
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

To me it looks like it is only a smidge pointier than the H1 Pac Salt 2, if at all. It still doesn't look nearly as pointy as the Endura.

TBH, the tip of the LC200N Pacific Salt looks exactly the same shape as the H1 version; the only difference being that it’s FFG.

Yeah, looking at it on a larger screen it seems about like the H1 but maybe a little pointier. Maybe it’s wishful thinking on my part.

I think Sal and company hit it out of the park with this reveal.

I hope LC200N will also be available in other colors than green.

Some yellow would be nice, black too.

I would love to see all the salts with this green! FFG LC200N would be nice but I like H1 as well. I have one request, if there is another Spyderhawk run done in green and FFG LC200N please don’t upgrade the handle to the Endura 4, just keep it the same (and without the jimping)! :D

I plan to buy a “matched set”: a plain-edge green Pacific Salt 2 in LC200N for my front pocket and a serrated-edge yellow Pacific Salt 2 in H1 for my back pocket (to “upgrade” my current black Pacific Salt 1, which has served me well for many years). The color green that they chose for the LC200N salts is the exact color that I dyed my Salt 1 and Ladybug Hawksbill Salt years ago, so I approve! :)

Well I pre-ordered both Salts last night in SE. I've been wanting this color. Add this to the great blue of the SPY27 FRN para 3 an I have my game day knives (Go Seahawks). Now if only the knives show up before the end of the season.... don't judge, us fans are a crazy bunch.

It’s available for pre-order on several websites (e.g., Knifecenter and Blade HQ). I haven’t heard an ETA yet.
