Yes, I agree. Definitely will be worth it. Especially, like you said, being dual sided/dual grit, and a really nice size.

How about some Takefu VGMax steel? I wonder if Sypderco can, or has gotten a hold of some of that? It is very good stuff. I'm slowly adding it to my kitchen arsenal now, along with some HAP40 friends.
