Could someone please post pics of Shaman, Manix and Native next to each other?

That would be sweet. I think that shape and ergos of these three are pretty similar, aren't they? Just different by size and locking mechanism.

Pics arent very good. I threw in the chief as well. I actually think the ergos of the Native, Shaman, and Manix are all pretty different... But they are all very good. The native is closer to the shaman than the manix.

Ergo wise I like the Shaman the best. However, backlocks are definitely my favorite lock type.

I put off even trying the Shaman (Manix lover), until the Cruwear/Micarta came around. Man, was that ever a mistake. Waiting so long. I've been head over heals, ever since!

I put off even trying the Shaman (Manix lover), until the Cruwear/Micarta came around. Man, was that ever a mistake. Waiting so long. I've been head over heals, ever since!

i tried handling a shaman, thinking it would be the one knife that could kick the manix out of my pocket. it couldn't. i don't like the handle shape under the ring and pinky fingers because it narrows where the manix swells and i don't like the wider butt end of the shaman that hogs more pocket opening than the manix. i also don't like the way the nubbin sticks up into the compression lock area when closed. none of those things would be deal breakers really, but it's enough for me to prefer the manix. i also prefer the more aggressive blade angle on the manix. the only thing i really prefer about the shaman is the stonewash. i think stonewash is much nicer looking than satin.

I dig neither stonewash nor satin. The upcoming Z-Wear Shaman has which finish?

Pics like these always make me wish they'd make the Manix blade just a bit longer, so it would extend to the very end of the handle when the knife is closed.

This would give the Manix pretty much the same length of cutting edge that the Shaman offers. In this particular size range for me this would be a real plus.

(Don't get me wrong, I still love my Manix LW as it is).
