Delica Wharncliffe black blade?

#1

Post by Sonorum »

I haven't been able to stop thinking about a Delica Wharncliffe with a black blade. The Salt 2 with a black blade looks so good but I like the blade shape of the wharncliffe better... I'm not interested in it first some "tactical" aspect I just like the look of black blades.

Would anybody but me buy one?

Sure. I think it would be cool to see St Nick's do some TiCN coated 4V wharnies and DLT do some coated Cruwear wharnies. Delica, Dragonfly, Endura, etc.

I agree 100%. Especially regarding some sort of st Nick's limited thing. I won't buy one in plain edge, but would pay a hefty premium for a serrated one.

Let's throw the LC200N steel and toxic green or yellow scales into the mix and I would pay a super-premium price myself

I don't care what color the blade is just give us Wharncliffe Delicas in new 'fancy' steels!

I’d just like to see more Delica wharncliffe models in general. More sprints and exclusives, please!! What was the last one...s30v CS? That was over two years ago. A DLC model would be rad, I agree.

There's the 20CV Knifejoy exclusive, which is still available.

Likewise, the teal S30V MGE distributor exclusive can still be found in several places.

And let's not forget K390. and the Salts in H1 and LC200N both plain edge and spyderedge.
One might argue that there's been a relative plethora of Delica wharncliffes compared to something like the Endela or Rockjumper. :winking-tongue

I was thinking just the other day how dope one of these would be, I carry a Wharnie Delica daily. I'm in for a PE version for sure.

I'd definitely buy a Salt 2 Wharncliffe with a coated blade.
