Hello everyone,

What's your everyday carry spydie and what do you use it for the most? Mine is an endura and I use it the most to cut oranges for lunch.LOL!

Weekdays, at work, it is usually a plain edge Calypso Ltwt. It sharpens a lot of pencils and cuts up tomatoes, apples and oranges at lunchtime. Also gets to trim up the occasional woodwork joint. Weekends it'll be the plain edge Chinese Folder in my pocket.

Most days it is the Chinese folder, though sometimes I carry my old Bob "T" folder instead.

Mostly they cut paper, plastic, cardboard, and the ocassionaly bit of food.

Either a G-10 Harpy or a G-10 Police. At work I also have my Spyderench, and at play, an SAK for utility cutting.

Well, depending on the time and place, it is some combination of a Viele(VG-10), a G-10 Harpy, and a forum Military. Right now I am field testing an MOD I just picked up, so it is getting the majority of the carry rotation, but I am sure I will go back to the Spydies after I evalute this one.

An Endura at work, usually a ProGrip at home and as soon as the UPS brownshirt hits the door, a new Native to be rotated into the duty cycle.
I'll only have three for the time being but I'm calling the 800 number later to join the collectors club. I can see a LOT of Spydies in my future.

Update...

The Viele is back as the EDC, the MOD is preparing for a trip to the warranty dept.
Seems it didn't like to stay locked open quite as well as my Viele, and listening to a friends experience on another forum, I decided to try a light test on whatever knife I use for lock strength. The Viele has no problems, the Trident on the other hand...

When at work in the ER I clip a 50/50 delica to my scrub bottom, when on the EMS unit I carry my rescue, and when just out and about I use my endura. Ordered a Forum Military and from what I hear probably will only carry it from the shelf to table and back...:}

Depending on the situation: Calypso Jr Lwt or Military, both plain edged.

The knife I carry all the time is the Copilot. Great cutting ability in a small package and with the short blade, not so much edge to resharpen. And when I'm out I usually have a second knife - Serrated Police or Military.

On duty I carry a serrated merlin in my waistband and a military in my back pocket. I sometimes used to carry my rescue instead of the merlin.
Off duty my military is one of my favorites
with the wegner a close second.

Calypso Jr. Lwt on left and Mouse or Navigator on right at work. On other occasions, Gunting, Military, Endura Lwt or Starmate is usually coupled with Calypso Jr. Lwt.
