Shaman please. It fits my hands and uses perfectly and I could take one in different configurations/steels for each of my use cases. Sal said he's working on a FRN shaman, why not a LC200N salt grippy textured FRN one?

Manix back lock salt with an LC200N blade.
This would be awesome with g10 and the liners used on the siren. It could be a mid weight manix… maybe a manix 3
Just one more knife...

All I want in a new Salt is a Chief Lightweight Salt in LC200N.

PM2 LW Salt please. I’d take a Para 3 LW also.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Yes! :)

Primarely cause I'd just love to see a fully SE Manix LW...
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Toxic green SE Dragonfly and Manbug Salts. It's too much for my old heart to hope for an updated Jester Salt SE.

I’d like to see a linerless G10 Native Chief Salt in full SE LC200N.

Perhaps something like a PM2 all in H1 or LC200N, including the scales to give it the heft I like. Partially serrated blade,,,, PE front and SE rear. Is the SE section would be in a recurve section, all the better.

A filet knife long enough for tuna or marlin. That’s about all we catch here, with a few mahi mahi and ono on the side. A 150 lb ahi or 600 lb marlin require some blade length.

I think all the common and popular Spyderco folders need to have three steels to cover all the bases (one from each category below):

  • Regular: VG-10/S30V/S35VN/S45VN/SPY27
  • Tool: K390/CruWear/4V
  • Corrosion Resistance: LC200N/H-1
