I can’t put my RJ down. This thing should be the new testing platform for steels.

I know it has been mentioned that the RJ may take on a leaf profile blade in the future. I would add that it seems like an excellent candidate for a hawkbill blade.
With a leaf shaped blade, this knife would look a lot like a folding Mule Team! Not a bad idea.

Just received my Rock Jumper and it has the best action of any Seki Spyderco I have had! I do have one question, however. The knife has 2 or 3 micro-chips in the edge. Is this something anyone else has seen on their Seki knives? Thanks.

I have had this knife for only a week. This would be a fantastic model to try new steels and colors. The ergos are spot on. Great neutral grip with the hand right behind the blade edge. The design hits well for what Sal has intended. Easily drops closed on the index finger like most other mid back lock Spydercos for 1 handed closing. There is no new muscle memory needed. I cannot add anything to the climber's take on this design. However, for outdoor camping/hiking and construction work I would say this should be fantastic. I just finished 2 home renovation projects heavily utilizing my Endela. The Warncliffe blade would have served me better, and I wish I would have gotten it earlier. I would say the majority of the use my knifes see week to week are utility based.

The Rock Jumper has gotten a lot of love here. I wonder who will do the first exclusive?

I had the idea that a variant with the same off-white (vanilla?) FRN as the Straight Spine Stretch sprint would do good for hiding chalk that is often used by climbers.
I also just really like the color.
