a request for matriarch 2 and KnifeCenter Endura owners

I need to confirm a hypothesis, can someone with both a matriarch 2 and a knifecenter endura find out if the matriarch's blade fits in the KC endura handle? I was thinking of doing some light mod work but I also know that the matriarch's tip rests partially in the lanyard channel, which isn't present on the KnifeCenter Endura.

thanks for the info in advance, it's a small thing but it'd be nice to know. Is'e gots some plans.
