I just got notice from the Spyderco App that the Delica K390 is on it's way to dealers

I'm looking forward to this K390 series and hope they include the Endela model in the future.

Yep, just saw it too. I'll be grabbing one from St. Nick's as soon as they get them in. Looking forward to the Dragonfly and Endura as well. Hoping to see the Endela, Police LW, and Jester in the next Reveal.

I'm most looking forward to the Delica & Manbug, but I'm also looking forward to the SS Stretch in this combo eventually.

The Endura is the most tempting K390 model for me, but with VG10 and HAP40 (and H1 SE in the Pac Salt) I´ve probably covered all my Endura-ish needs... from a practical point of view at least... ;)
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

So much yes, I'm planning on grabbing both the PE & SE in VG10 and if they make 'em in K390 I'll happily buy both again! :)

I'm a bit surprised it comes in at $115.

I was thinking a bit high, considering it's still frn. I haven't really been following K390 too closely yet though, so maybe it's just that much more expensive of a steel?

Given the fact that the Delica in ZDP-189 is $119, I was actually thinking the street price would be around 120... IMO it's the best steel in a Delica to date, with the KW exclusive S90V being second... which was also $119 when launched if I remember correctly.

I'd say you're right. But also everything keeps going up in price. Glad I don't have to have all the latest sprints anymore lol. I remember the Superblue, hap40, and V-TOKU2 delica being under $100...maybe I'm misremembering?

Yeah I miss the days when I thought the Leek was the best knife ever lol. My husband has my old Leek now and he loves it. I hope he never gets bit by the spydie bug! Although I am giving him a Ti stepped Chaparral for Christmas...

Ahhh, that's who it's going to! I know you said you bought it as a gift...that could be dangerous!

My Cruwear Delica was $94 when it came out.

If I didn't have it, I would definitely be interested in this one.

I have been using the K390 on my PM2 quite a bit. Reprofiled and all. So I am all for more models using it, especially more Golden ones. But I wouldn't say no the RockJumper if that happens; even SS Stretch.

I'm still trying to decide if I really need this. As much as I like the Delica I'm already well stocked. When they announced the K390s I said I'd go with the Delica and maybe a Manbug. So I guess I'll need to decide soon

I'm stoked about this production run. Seki K390 is impossibly good IMO and pre-orders have been placed. Love the BRG, but K390 is a much better user for me than ZDP. I like this move, despite the price...

M390 Delica $110
SG2 Delica $120
Production ZDP-189 Delica $120

...it's just the direction it's all going unfortunately.
