If I had to narrow it down to just one folder I would go with one of my C-44 Dyad models>> because you basically have two blades in one folder. ( one Se & one PE)

If I had to pick a fixed blade it would be my TEMPERANCE 1 model. It's still my favorite Spyderco fixed blade model of all time.

Good luck on the storm and my prayers are with you.
Thank you, we are in the clear down here in the Keys. Was touch and go yesterday but it took a slight East jog running up the coast.
I was hanging out in the Florida Keys when "Key West" Island was lobbying to become the "Conch Republic" and Brother that's been a few years ago :o That is truly snorkeling heaven down there. I also used to hang out with some friends in Ft. Walton Beach ( Emerald Coast) FL and I had a lot of fun diving and snorkeling there too.

Be very careful Brother because those tropical storms are nothing to mess with. We got hit hard one summer up there in Ft. Walton Beach and it made a believer out of me

I'm going to add another Folder to that list. I would also take my hallowed M390 Military model or my Stainless RESCUE model from the ATS-55 era. Those are both super folders that I have really put through some rough jobs and both blades are still performing. Again Brother my prayers are with you :)
Yes please be careful! I was in Destin when Opal hit in 95. That was a scary experience!
Two great knives, very cool. I have been eyeing a Rescue for a long time. Thanks for the kind words.

HAP 40 Endura.

If I was even more in the outdoors and mountains than I am anyway already: Probably Pac Salt SE.
Especially, but not only, if you allowed me a PE fixed blade... ;)
Another Endura endorsement! Such a great platform.

Ok, Red, now here's a challenge for you.. :D

Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):

-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

But I love them all so much... What kind of life would it be without my Waterway, Spydiechef, and g10 Native Salt. I guess the Spydiechef would be the one if I HAD to. But I wouldn't be happy.
Haha, I am with you brother!

Ha! That gives me something to ponder over my coffee this morning sir. 2 is great because it gives so many more options!!!! :D

Quick answer would be the PM2 and Autonomy but that really opens things up.

Spyderco Province or Spyderco Sustain. I like them so much that I am saving to buy one more of each.
Thats a great idea for a new thread, “Spyderco’s you like so much, you bought two”
I am guilty of having lots of doubles, its hard on the wallet but eases the mind.

Quick answer would be the PM2 and Autonomy but that really opens things up.

"If you could only have TWO" is a whole different story. And it is rather interesting to see which general approach people take:
One large and one small folder? Or: One PE and one SE folder? / Or: One easy-to sharpen and one long edge retention folder (maybe even in the same model, for example: 1. VG10 Endura, 2. ZDP Endura)?

Also, while I have to think a bit about my number ONE, my number TWO is always crystal clear, no matter what number one might be: Number two will always be Chap FRN, but it could never be my number ONE and only knife, while it is the perfect addition to a larger, preferably serrated folder...

So: Looking forward to your reply... ;) https://forum.spyderco.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=84106

Ok, its the Autonomy because its serrated and will last down here in the saltwater enviornment (and when I am sitting around on the beach talking to a volleyball named Wilson it would satisfy my flicking compulsion! :) ) The other choice is still the PM2, it was the first Spyderco that really peaked my interest in the brand and my enthusiasm for knives in general. And, like the Autonomy...its a great flicker!! Obviously the Autonomy is an Auto but its every bit as fun as the PM2👍

I have a Para 3 and hate it.

Of the knives I have with me I would keep the Manix 2 backlock and a Dragonfly or S30v Endura.

If only 1, it would be the M2 BL, but the S30v E4 would bea strong contender.

Bumped the Native 5 last week for the Manix in my edc rotation. Love the Native 5 but the Manix is a beast, its a work horse for sure.
