Really cool to see the Police getting an exclusive!

Re: Police HAP40 and Pakkawood: KC Exclusive
That looks great but the price seems very high. I believe the Endura went for $145 or so. I know the Police is a larger model but an $80 increase over the Endura seems a bit much.

Wow! Exciting to see a Police exclusive! I hope this means we see more from other dealers.

Wow!
I'm definitely getting one. I don't think the Hap 40 will outperform the K390, but I love the Police 4, and I really enjoy the my pakkawood dragonfly.
With the K390 P4 supply running dry, this is definitely the new high end police to go with the VG-10 (lightweight) version.
I also expect to see this be easier to get your hands on (not a 30 second sell out) and KC has done repeated runs in the past when they sell through fast, so this one should be safe from ebay-flipper purgatory.
Have they announced a drop date?
Nice job, KnifeCenter!

Pricey and not my ideal handle material for a knife I’d really like to work hard, but that didn’t stop me, heck it barely slowed me down! Thanks for the heads up. I still want the REX45 Chief, but this will do nicely if I can’t score one of those.

Wow, that's cool! I was hoping KC would continue this series in other models. The Police is too big for me, but maybe they'll resurrect the Rookie!

Dang, that's not bad. Unfortunately, it's a bit out of my budget right now.

Re: Police HAP40 and Pakkawood: KC Exclusive
That is a cool one! Police is one of those knives that I've wanted to buy but it's way bigger than I'd actually use. I also don't carry my other Pakkawood models very often. So I'll have to take a pass this time
I'd have a hard time passing on a Pakkawood Rookie!
Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most!
Re: Police HAP40 and Pakkawood: KC Exclusive
Great looking knife for sure! This one was definitely a shocker. I too, am pretty sure the Police would be a bit too large for me, plus I'd have a tough time carrying it and chancing dinging that beauty up at work. That's what my Military is for when it comes to something that size. Very cool for all you Police lovers out there though!

Wait, lets ask some important questions here. Can dealers order exclusives of discontinued models? Was the exclusive commissioned before the regular police 4 was discoed? Or is it built off the lightweight platform?
I see liners in the last picture. Im assuming its built off of the regular police 4 construction. So I stand by my first two questions.
Because I doubt the answer to the first one is yes, but if it is...

liners arent nested so I'd imagine it's based off the g10 model.VooDooChild wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 1:15 pmWait, lets ask some important questions here. Dealers can order exclusives of disco'd models. The Blade HQ Dodo, for example.VooDooChild wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 1:15 pmWait, lets ask some important questions here.
