K390 Lil Native backlock and UKPK

These are two knives I really want to see in K390. I don’t want another compression lock. I’ve passed on all of the Lil Native versions with this lock. I want a backlock.

Also, since my UKPK gets a workout I would like to have one in K390.

I'm in for both, 100% -- but no interest in Lil' Native w/comp lock, much as I love it in other knives, I do not like the comp lock on that small a knife.

Tom beat me to it. The backlock does not depend on a detent to keep itself closed. Detents wear, may come open, and are not as strong. Plus the backlock is fully ambidextrous. I could go on.

K390 in these two knives would be fantastic. Both are solid designs and K390 would bump them into the stratosphere.

I agree about the lack of steel options on the Lil Native backlock-- would like to see more.

I'm past ready for this upgrade. Hey, if Spyderco can make an exclusive UKPK for Heinnie Haynes with S30V and red G10 that retails for 74 pounds, then certainly they can make a grey or other earth tone G10 K390 for a good price.

The Lil Native backlock is simply long past due for an upgrade.

I would have said so above but I remain uncertain of the UKPK pivot.

I have two, the titanium and the Golden-made orange G10. Each has opposing Torx-heads. Were there not some Maniago-made UKPKs that did not, leaving open the door, like in the Urbans, to a spinning pivot?

But, how I would jump all over a drop-point K390 UKPK having a pivot with opposing Torx-heads!

I would definitely buy a Lil’ native backlock with upgraded steel. I also would love to see it in a color other than black. My preference would be purple, blue or grey. I have no interest in the compression lock. I have a Lil’ Native in both locks and I much prefer the backlock!
