Saw the thread bumped and got excited. Most anticipated knife remains most anticipated.

Have you heard anything about the actual design? Or are you mainly excited because of the designer? I’m curious because I’d love to hear more about the design itself.

I don't know anything about the actual design/style of the knife. But a Shawn Houston/Spyderco collab with Shawn's perfected heat treat is the most exciting thing I've encountered in the cutlery world in a long time! I'll buy one even if it has features I don't care for, I'm looking at you compression lock and peel ply. :squinting-tongue

I have heard it is designed by Shawn Houston in 15V with his heat treat protocol. I really didn't need any more info than that for it to be the top of my list. I'm a big fan of his Trapper fixed blade designs and can't wait to see what he brings to the folding knife world.

I know nothing more about it than you, but that's all it takes to make this my most anticipated upcoming knife, by a huge margin.

I saw that this thread had been bumped so I got a bit excited.

I think this is one of the few knives that I would literally buy sight unseen.

From the excitement of other members alone this darn thing should be amazing. From what I have read in this thread so far it sounds like it should be so sharp it will cut you before it’s out of the box it was shipped in. LoL

Ah, it seems BBB got the edge so refined and sharp that it sliced through this elemental plane and slipped into the next. Sorry, no folder...on this plane of existence at least.

Hmmm. I concluded that the bevel had become so thin that it simply vanished and took the rest of the blade with it.

Hadn’t even considered that this blade utterly left this mortal coil.

Perhaps the blade is just not for us mere mortals.

It was in the prototype display at blade show. That is all I remember though.

I saw it there as well. It was a linerlock with a micarta (?) handle. I didn't ask to handle it.
