Hi Red,

Same to you. To me, it is a time for appreciation. I don't want to be political. But even the protesters should be glad they're not in Hong King. America is a very special place and the only country in the world that was built on an idea.

Happy 4th for all the US folk. My country wouldn't be the same without your ideological influence. Ty.

I pretty much always work on holidays. Have a hotdog for me. Happy 4th.

It’s a shame that there aren’t any fireworks or parades, at least around where I live in Northern California. Literally every city cancelled their celebrations. I understand but it’s a shame as 4th of July is my favorite holiday. Hope everyone enjoys it as best you can!

I live in Northern CA also, and it will be weird without the fireworks and celebrations. In fact, I work with the local American Legion, which funds our fireworks. My hope is that everything will be twice as good next year!

Maybe with the money they’re saving this year they’ll go all out next year. We can always hope! Happy Independence Day!

Ever since I was a kid (around early-to-mid-1970s), I’ve thought of this song every July 4th. And this year, it’s even on a Saturday. :)
