Dragonfly G10 maker's mark?

Hey guys, I recently got a dragonfly G10 and I'm loving it so far. However, I noticed that my dragonfly has Sal's design mark on the blade, but on every youtube video I've watched on the knife, and on Spyderco's own website, the mark isn't there. I'm just trying to figure out why that is. Is that normal? Do the new ones have the mark and not the older ones?

Welcome to our forum.

We've just recently begun adding the designer's tag to my designs. In time we'll add it to all of my designs. I've always gone under the principal that: "Man who beat on own chest knock self over backwards", but I'm getting older and I've been asked to add them. So now you're stuck with it. :p

I like that the mark is there. Not only pride, but authentication.

I'm with others - I prefer having the marking on the blade. Looks great.
