People often put it on their lips, so it is safe in that regard. I would not replace peanut butter with it however! :D

Flitz here if it’s early and light rust. I don’t remove patina if I can help it though.

Really great stuff. I live in the same city as Bob Kramer (Master Bladesmith) and I took a tour of his shop and he suggested I use it on my kitchen knives and I haven’t looked back. :)

Most online Japanese kitchen knife stores carry it, as does Amazon (although I’d probably go there as a last resort).
