You and me both, fella!ugaarguy wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 8:39 pmIf Spyderco ever makes another Ti integral comp lock knife I'm buying it, regardless of model. Do that on a Sage or Lil' Native with an LC200N blade, and I might be camping in the SFO parking lot to get one. :pabbazaba wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 11:07 amI tried the Flytanium Ti scales on my PM2 and immediately knew the weight killed it for me. I'm definitely out on this one, but am stoked to see them doing a liner delete with internal milling. This is one step closer to two PM2s I dream of, FRN and integral Ti. Always glad to see more REX45 as well.
Please wake me up when the PM2 FRN with wire clip drops :)
My dream is a Caribbean(LC200N or Vanax) with an Ti Integral compression lock, with contoured handles and the same milled grip pattern of the original. That would be perfection for me
I'd pay it, just give me the number.

I do believe this BHQ exclusive—being copper-handled and thus anti-SARS-CoV2—will be gone in 1m47s. Place your bets.
I’ll take a pass on this slippery-smooth metal, for Blerv’s sake, if no one else’s.

I love the look of copper on small knives; it’s jewel-like. I don’t think I’d like it on the PM2. But since buying a new range and cookware I’m a bit broke for the foreseeable future!
Re: Blade HQ copper rex45 pm2
No one should buy this knife. At least until I get one in my cart through shipping etc.
Re: Blade HQ copper rex45 pm2
Good luck, my bet is 2 minutes and 13 seconds before they are sold out
In the pocket: Chaparral FRN, Native Chief, Police 4 K390, Pacific Salt SE, Manix 2 G10 REX45
Re: Blade HQ copper rex45 pm2
It's a very interesting model but too heavy for me- my limit would be about the 5.0 oz weight of the G10 Manix 2. To me one of the advantages of the standard PM2 is its weight. But for the people who like this version- I wish you good luck in getting one and I am somewhat envious of the Rex45.

I hope it sells well enough that someone decides to initiate a bronze-handled run.

Re: Blade HQ copper rex45 pm2
I applaud them for making this PM2, despite not wanting to own one. At the same time, I also think that Rex45 is wasted on a knife that will never be used. 'Tis just fodder for Instagram.
I would prefer copper on knives be used as an accent like a bolster or inlay rather than as entire scales.

The secondary market will be flooded with these and they will have forced patina on the blade and scales

If someone made a Native/Chief/PM2/P3 etc with brass bolsters and Mahogany or Ironwood, they would sell like crazy. Possibly because I would buy a bunch...

The time is coming
Re: Blade HQ copper rex45 pm2
I'm convinced people will have numerous checkout bots ready to go for this one... Also, there will be a large handful of people who claim its too heavy or they don't want it but will silently end up with one anyway because they know they can flip it for a profit.
I'm just super anxious to snag one. I try to avoid the PM2 madness but I just can't resist the copper scales. If I miss this one, I'll undoubtedly be setting up a checkout bot for future knives.

They might be in for a surprise, given how many people are out of work, how many more will be, and the future economic consequences of closing the world. I'd say this is a poor time to try to make a buck on luxury items, but who knows.Mushroom wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 9:04 amI'm convinced people will have numerous checkout bots ready to go for this one... Still available after 10 minutes. Was there a limit on purchases? If so, I did not see it.
