I wouldn't mind seeing a full Spyderedged Manix model. But I also always wanted to see the Chinook III, C-36 Military, Tatanka, and to bring back the Catcherman also in full SE.

With Spyderco's serrated edge folders getting more popular I would like to see many more folders and fixed blades with teeth. Every GOLDEN CO made knife that they offered in SE were great IMO. Just what Evil D has reported with his full SE Carribbean model should let everyone know how well bigger folders with teeth can be.

I carried my SE Caribbean today to compliment my PE fixed blade, but I do love some Manix and would get one in my SE rotation with my Pac Salts and said Caribbean if it was available.

I'm in for sure, I've been trying to get my hands on a "C101GS2" for quite a while, they are nearly impossible to find in any condition...

I am with you 100%. Did a poll on this quite recently, maybe you´d like to vote there (link below):

The handle is already serrated, so why not the blade?

I wouldn't be interested, but I bet it would sell well. An obvious platform would be the upcoming Manix 2 Salt.

I don't know...
The Manix 2 is my favorite knife for EDC. My experience with SE is that they do some chores GREAT. And they do some chores not-so-well. Which chores are most important to me? That I don't know.

If the M2 was to come serrated in the Steel du Jour, I might be tempted to go for it. Nobody talks about whether CPM-15V makes a good serrated blade. That might be an interesting knife.

i'm not sure about this one either. the manix is my pe edc and i like longer blades that fit more teeth and have a little less of a point for my se edc. that said, i would probably still buy it because i love the manix and i love se. it would be a good knife to carry when i only want to carry one instead of two.

Replied here already (and even started a poll on this once) ,but that was 2.5 years ago, and I'd still today I'd even more so like to see a Manix 2 SE..

I prefer SE in almost any task anyway and for me the rather short actual edge of the Manix could especially profit from teeth since SE makes effectively for more edge (in a way).

I don't know why not at least the base LW model comes in SE: As far as I could tell from the just one month I owned a Para 3 LW SE the BD1N is really good steel for teeth!

definitely true that serrations give you extra edge and provide extra cutting power on shorter blades. still, i'd rather use my sheepsfoot caribbean to cut a seatbelt than my dragonfly salt.

a manix salt se would still make a great single knife to carry though. if we do see a se manix, i kinda hope it's the magnacut salt.

Wait, what? Where are you seeing evidence of this?

I am afraid you're right...while on this forum it seems like there actually is a slight shift towards people realizing how good "good" SE really is (I personally would even say superior to PE in folders), in the general market the silly myths like "SE is hard to sharpen and only good for man made fibrous material" still persist.
