New guy here

#1

Post by Red »

New to the forum, Hello. I have had an affinity for knives since I was a kid. Big fan of Benchmade and especially Spyderco’s. Been lurking awhile and decided to sign up today. The knife bug has hit me really hard this year. Have a Manix 2 110v on the way!

Welcome to the forum Red! Nice pile you got. Is the Manix on the way the g10 or lightweight?

Welcome! You can't go too far wrong with the Manix. The lock feels a lot different from the Benchmade Axis, but I actually find that I prefer the Spyderco version (which feels stiffer to me).

Welcome RED . You’ve landed at the right destination, enjoy . Interestingly last week I purchased a Siamese fighting fish BETTA and called him RED as he is a striking red colour, he is surprisingly friendly . Have fun, in.

Nice! Welcome to the Forum.

You've got quite the collection going. Is that a SPY-27 Native 5?
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.
