If you looked again six months from now at the same sources you're getting that Rex sprint hype from there will be a different model people are lusting over. Knife AFI's are a fickle bunch.

THIS. My grail knife changes every few months. Currently I'd say a Cruwear Endura would be my grail knife, but last year it was the Cru-carta Shaman and the Cruwear Delica.

The forum’s consensus?

Don’t ask me. I can’t even say which among my accumulated Spydies is my favorite...
I'm the same. I have a hard time deciding which one to put in my pocket each day. At one time the Fluted Titanium Native 5 was pretty much a grail for me. I have one now so grail achieved. I guess maybe the Paysan is grailish to me. I had one on pre-order when they first came out and decided to wait. Now I'm not sure if I'll ever buy one.
Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most!

For a long time, it was the s90v/cpm154 clad paramilitary 2. The viele Phoenix is having a surge in popularity when one comes up for sale. For me personally, Hap40 and v-toku 2 knives with perfectly even lamination lines

Every forum I read, the desire to obtain Shaman Rex Sprint seems apparent to me that it's the Grail Knife. Thoughts/Counters?
For me it is the Native. Strong build, strong back lock, but not too big or small. Thin blade stock. I love how the leaf blade positions the tip. Spyderco's Rex 45 has tremendous wear resistance, has decent corrosion resistance, and is not hyper brittle like s110v. I like trading some of the stainless for more edge stability.

The Shaman has never appealed to me, as I prefer folders around the size of a Sage or Native 5. At this time, my grail Spyderco is the Drunken.

I agree that the Slysz Bowie seems to be one of the
most highly sought after Grails. When it was in regular production it was a Grail for me, so now imagine learning about the brand too late after the Bowie was discontinued.

It was the CruCarta Shaman but that didn’t happen. Now it might be the Bombshell.

Mine would be the Ayoob, the large Wegner, and the original Chinook. Never owned any of these three, any steel, any handle material, count me in!

Obviously it’s the K390 backlock Military with a 5” handle. I’ll probably settle for the K390 Manbug though. :)

It is hard to pick favorites. Too many good ones and none call harder than the most elusive.
