Why anyone would want an inferior backlock is beyond me. I'll take a compression lock, please.

i apologize for my part in that. i get so tired of seeing any thread that mentions a compression lock get overrun by the “but muh backlocks” crowd.

I thought the PowerLock on the Tatanka and the Bolt-Lock on the Sage3 were the strongest... no?
Is the Bolt Lock stronger than the CBBL or the BBL?

Now I want to go find some destructive lock test videos on Youtube. Does anyone know of some?
I seem to recall Sal saying something to the effect that Spyderco could design any of their locks to be as strong as they desired. I Imagine it is just a balancing act. How strong is strong enough, while still making a lock easy to disengage, weight and thickness of materials, etc.

Now back on topic, I do love me some M390!

Similar to M390, how about a Lime Green/20CV Lil Native from Knifejoy? I wouldn't be able to resist...

The line green was a little too bright for me on a bigger knife like the pm2, but on a lil' Native I'd love love it.

What are you all doing with a Lil' Native to get all worked up about lock strength? I think any lock Spyderco puts on a knife is going to be strong enough for my uses.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)
