Very nice work, and some keen vision for an entirely new knife.

Amazing job! 👍🏻

Although I’ve got to admit, the thought of having that done to one of my own knives gives me the heebie-jeebies. :o

Blasphemy I say.
Yeah man,I gotta agree- the Shaman is such a great design, and it is a crime to mess w/ her (guilty)!
as someone that doesn’t care for the shaman, i kinda like this one better. good job.

Jim
I know would not be brave enough to do that to one of my knives.

Well done job.

After seeing the awesomeness of this and that other knife you did the mini-skinny chop to, I need to get an extra Amalgam and send it to you :D I've been wanting a sheepsfoot Amalgam so bad, and this would be a way to sort-of get one.

I really wish there was some way that I could do the exact opposite of this and make knives bigger :p

Yeah, we all have our preferences D! I've sold or chopped every folder over 3.5" that I've owned, as I just don't end up carrying em or needing that much blade length. I live in an urban area w/ legal restrictions, so that also plays in...

Love the blade and handle profile. Would prefer to retain some length in both but looks great.

Thanks Woodpecker! As a matter of fact I'm chopping one now (for a customer) w/ slightly longer blade and handle(3.25" blade, 4.12" handle).

Here's a vid of another Shaman chop I just did (commissioned) - more angular blade shape, slightly longer blade and handle than the last chop: https://i.imgur.com/mckTStb.mp4

How do you keep the blade cool while cutting?

Man, that is very cool too! I definitely like the handle better and probably the overall package more than the previous one.

Douse it w/ water every few seconds. Definitely vital!
