Standard find. Is it rare?

So I just got a C05 standard on the bay. From the pictures it looked normal for the era. However upon closer inspection it seems to be different. It’s a slab sided stainless handle with a right hand tip down clip and the odd part is a lanyard hole? Anyone have more info on this? Spyderwiki doesn’t have anything on this configuration.

Could the lanyard hole have been a customer’s modification?

Yeah I saw that but the scales don’t have the new style bevel they are slab sided. Let me see if I can get a picture.
