I believe the Police has been in the lineup in some form or other since 1984. It has obviously gone through some evolution to get to the Police 4 LW we have today, but the "Police" model has been around a long time. Maybe the longest? I can't say for sure.

The Delica 4 model specifically has been in production since 2006 but the Delica model in general was introduced in 1990.

Also, the Paramilitary 2 model specifically has been in production since 2010.

The sharpmaker has had a few revisions with new model numbers.

The CO7 Police has had a few changes but still maintains the C07 model number.

The Harpy is C08 but I don’t know if it came before the Police or not?

I think that C07 is the longest continually running model number.

Pretty sure the Police was released a couple years ahead of the Harpy.

According to Spydiewiki, the C08 Harpy was first released in 1987 and the C07 Police was 1984.

The Delica model has been around for a while. I used to have one that did not have a removable clip. The clip was molded into the handle. I wish I knew what happened to that knife.

I'd say the stainless steel Police must be the longest lasting, least changed model in the catalog.
Endura/Delica are true veterans as well but although still easily recognizable, has gone through more changes than the Police.

Didn't even realize it was still in production! The police 4 really should be a different model, looking at the differences

The cricket also feels like it's been around forever

As far as I can tell (according to Spydiewiki), Delica and Endura were released at the same time.

That´s an interesting, but probably in that rather early times of Spyderco also clever approach.

Imagine, they would have kept to this and small and large versions of a platform would have been released at the same time:
Chief and Native 5, PM2 and Para 3, Yojimbo and Yojumbo...courious, how that would have worked out.

Should be the stainless steel Police C07. True classic, especially the Spyderedge version.

Was confirmed by Eric, in a video with Knifecenter, that the C07 Police is their longest running design.
