Hey Java! Thanks for the encouraging word dude! I guess the count don't matter anymore.. *heh-heh!*
I think the pre-3k count was sorta like a rush.. Like Perry and Amundsen's race to the pole.. Or Hillary and Tensing's ascent to the roof of the world! *heh-heh!* Surely I'll stay on despite the geographical, cultural and language barriers.. This is my home and it will be so till the end.. It is the people that made it great.. <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Once again, thanks for the kind words... <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Roger that, Samo!

Even when I don't post much, I always drop by and lurk just to see that everyone is okay. Just checking in, seeing who got what new Spydie, reading the OT posts, and checking out the tips and opinions makes you amazed at how such a diverse group got together. Reading your freinds comments makes the stress of a dreary work-day just fade away. Blink. Blink....sniff....oops. Must be something in my eye. Gotta go now. Things are starting to look a wee bit sentimental.... E-mail ya later, dude!!

Stay safe! Stay sharp!

That's a poignant tale Java! I remember not too long ago when this forum was founded.. Clay Kesting was the dude who linked it on BladeForums.com and there I was, posting and replying and welcoming newbies! *heh-heh!* Guess after 3-k, I found myself jaded and quickly running out of steam.. *heh-heh!* <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> So, I've decided to 'retire' 'samo's' username and start afresh all over again.. To sustain we have to be inventive and brave all the changes and challenges which lies ahead.. <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Seems like that new handle came from an old Bogart movie. Sam tickled the ivories and Bogie delt with the bad guys. Whatever, you have certainly left your mark on the forum. I would love to come and visit you in Maylasia and take part in the fishing and hunting etc.
Thanks to the forum for me being able to read your posts and become more knowledgable about Spyderco people far away.

Hey Fred! Thanks for the kind words! I'll be glad to host your stay if you ever visit Malaysia! We'll do some serious fishing, jungle trekking and hunting! Well, samo's just been released from the Vet's Admin Hospital for treatment. Since hitting the Big 3K, he's been suffering from 'posting too much' traumatic stress disoder. The man's fine now and is catching up with some frog catching back in the jungle... As for me, I'm kinda laying low, spending more time with my knife review articles.. The company that I'm with is currently experiencing a down-sizing excercise, so, somehow or rather, I can feel the noose tightening on my neck.. <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Anyway, the adventures, been purely limited to land travel as I'm speaking and oh yeah, samo's also planning to get hitched.. Details and update as we go along.. Thanks again you guys! You are THE greatest! Oh yeah, and speaking about starting fresh! Yeee-haaaaw! I think I've passed my 50th post! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
