Going to give the Manix 2 a try again. When I checked an hour ago, sold out. Was able to grab one just now.

Still available. I would’ve normally got 2 but with M390 already in the stable and Rex45 LW still to come I held back.

i just want a dlc manix in a stainless steel that makes me better than everyone else.
Hah, very true. m390 is however useful if you need high hardness and high corrosion resistance, and it is no more brittle than S30V. I'd like to see how m390 compares to H1 corrosion resistance.
Larrin rated M390/20CV/204P a 9.6 out of 10 for corrosion resistance. H1 would obviously be a 10. I believe the M390 family is a bit more corrosion resistant than S110V as well.
S110V is incredibly corrosion resistant, and should be even more so than the M390 analogues. Before I got my Pacific Salt, I took my S110V Manix LW swimming in the Atlantic on several occasions with no blade corrosion whatsoever. I didn’t try it with M390 PM2, but wish I had at least dipped the blade in seawater as an experiment. The PM2 did get wet with tap water and got rust on the stop pin, so I’m glad I didn’t take it swimming in saltwater.

I got one...and this is one of the best deals Spyderco has. $10 more than the Red Para 3 LW, and feels like it should be twice as much. I have basically the same knife in Brown with M390, but couldn’t pass on the garnet scales...
I have the brown/DLC/m390 one as well... couldn’t pass it up though.
I’m in the same boat with the satin M390. My short-lived resistance was futile...
Have: old S30V Native, HAP40 Endura, ZDP DF2, S110V Manix LW, Cru-wear Para 3, SE H1 DF2, S90V Native 5, K390 Urban, SE Pac Salt, P.I.T.S., XHP Manix LW, SB Caly 3, B70P, PMA11, K03, Kapara, REX 45 Military, 154CM Manix LW, Swick, AEB-L Urban, KC Cruwear Manix, M390 PM2, Mantra 2, CruCarta Shaman, M390 Manix, K390 Police 4, S90V Manix LW, Rex 45 Manix LW, 20CV Manix, Rex 45 Lil’Native, Shaman, C208GP, Cruwear Manix, Cruwear Manix, M4 Chief, Z-max!!!

May not last a few days, but we are hoping they will last through the afternoon at least. We wanted to have enough to avoid a 2 minute chaos scenario.

I was mistaken, it wasn't 9.6, it was 9.1 and S110V scored 9.0.

Nice work, DLT!

I'm really impressed with your efforts to re-run the popular exclusives so more people have a shot at picking them up. :)

Awesome that DLT got enough of these to last for hours! Then again, my willpower apparently only lasts for 2.5 hours, so maybe it's not such a good thing. Anyhow, it'll be nice to have a manix in the 20cv family.

It is great, can’t wait on this one. Really glad you all brought it back and that you brought in enough to last for a few hours. Thanks for the good service.

Mine came in today...perfect knife, centered, extremely sharp and love the garnet color #gogamecocks. My brown M390 is an awesome knife functionality, just never loved the army brown color...much prefer a Marine green in a subdued color, or garnet if it’s going to stand out, and this one is perfect for that.
